Piranhas drop swim season opener
The Paola Piranhas Swim Team posted good numbers from their traditionally strong upper age group swimmers, but fell short against a Louisburg squad that featured a strong group of swimmers in the 8 and under and 9-10 year old age groups, as they dropped their season opening swim meet 325-169 at the Paola Family Pool on Saturday morning, June 13, 2009.
The Woodson Sharks may be new to the South Suburban Swim League this year, but it's not taking too long for the Raytown team to sink their teeth into the league. The Sharks bite proved too much for the Paola Piranhas on Saturday, June 20 at the Paola Family Pool, as the Sharks racked up an impressive 358-140 victory over the Piranhas.
