Trojans bounce Buffalos in three
Trojans blank Buffs for Pioneer title
The Osawatomie Trojans completed their sweep of the Pioneer League on Thursday night,and handed the Prairie View Buffalos their second straight shut out loss, blanking the Buffalos 32-0 on a sloppy Lynn Dickey Field in Osawatomie. The Trojans went through the Pioneer League undefeated and finished 7-2 on the season. The Buff finished 1-8.
Trojans complete season at sub-state
The Osawatomie Trojan Volleyball team ended its season with an opening round loss at the hands of eventual champion Rose Hilll at sub-state tournament action held at Iola on Saturday, October 24, 2009. The Trojans fell to Rose Hill by scores of 25-13 and 25-11. Rose Hill went on to defeat Towanda Circle and El Dorado to take the sub-state crown. Rose hill will enter the state tournament as the sixth seeded team with a 31-7 season record.
Soucie finishes in top 20 at state
As has been the case all year long for the Osawatomie Trojan Cross Country team, Brendan Soucie and Dustin Keuser were near the top of the finishers at the Kansas State Class 4A Cross Country meet on Halloween day at Wamego. Soucie cracked the top 20 finishers, coming in in 18th place overall, and Kueser finished in 35th position in the event
