Senior Intern Program

After the junior intern programs have been established at each of our three target schools, we will initiate the complete senior intern program. Senior Interns will vie for one of six paid positions of varying responsibility.

From the top down, paid senior intern positions include:

1. Senior Intern Webmaster

2. Senior Intern for Content Development

3. Senior Intern for Software Development

4. Senior Intern Louisburg High School Site Development

5. Senior Intern Osawatomie High School Site Development

6. Senior Intern Paola High School Site Development

Senior interns from all schools are eligible for the top management positions, but a senior intern from each school will have to assume the duties of school site development senior intern. It is highly unlikely a senior intern could assume the challenges of one of the top management positions as well as the school site development position. Therefore it is most likely that one senior from each school will assume the top three management roles and the remaining seniors from the three schools will fill the roles of school site coordinators.

With the senior management positions filled, the remaining spots in the flow chart will be filled by the incoming junior interns. Each junior will fill a dual role. First they will be responsible to their school site senior intern and will help in the development of content for each school site. Secondly they will be asked to pick an area of interest, either content development or software development, where they will be given additional challenges relevant to those areas of specialization.
