Program Funding:
The Kansas Sports Source, High School Intern Program, Inc. is a Not-for-Profit Kansas Corporation and has filed for, and is awaiting approval by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit organization.
During the early start-up phases of the program, we will be dependent on donations, both large and small, from the serviced communities for our operational budget.
After successful implementation of the junior program in our three target high schools, we will seek grants from organizations known to fund educational projects like ours to grow and expand the program to include our senior level intern program and beyond.
In addition, the program will work to develop goods and services which will be offered to the public in our area that will bring income to the program. These services will include, but not be limited to, sale of photographic works of the website, video production, website developement, software developement and website memberships.
Our funding strategy calls for the program to be self-sufficient within five years.
This will not be an easy task, we will rely heavily on the good faith and help of our local communities to make this dream a reality. The success of the program and the benefits it will bring to the local students will be a testimony to the true giving spirit of our communities.
